PCC Course Description:

Control and use in-camera, single, or multiple attached flash units to achieve desired lighting in a variety of conditions. Classwork includes using flash units for indoors, outdoors, macro, product, and portrait photography.

Upon completion of the course, students should be able to:

Describe their preferences in photographic styles

Manipulate camera controls for various flash configurations

Control their camera's built-in flash

Create images using the built-in flash

Control attached flash units available for their camera

Create images using a single attached flash unit

Control off-camera flash

Create images using an off-camera flash

Control multiple flash units

Create images using multiple flash units

Select appropriate flash equipment for their preferred style of photography
